Gubernatorial Candidate Ronald J. Friedman, M.D.
Hosts California Clean Campaign Kick-Off

Woodland Hills, CA — August 8, 2003 — Ronald J. Friedman, M.D., a candidate for governor of California, today announced he will host a "California Clean Campaign Kick-Off" here on Monday at 12 noon. The event will be held at his Woodland Hills office of Wellness West, a Medical Corporation — a facility dedicated to maximizing total health.

All gubernatorial candidates registered in Los Angeles are invited to attend, with the purpose being to pledge a clean campaign directed towards citizen concerns. "Government should be by the people and for the people," Friedman said. "We are trying to enhance citizen awareness of government and government responsiveness to its citizens."

A "Citizen’s Platform Plank" will be available for office personnel and visitors to post their concerns about California’s future that they would like addressed by all candidates. Refreshments will be served and all attending candidates will be asked to make themselves available for employee and press queries.
