Gubernatorial Candidate Ronald J. Friedman, M.D.
Hosts California Clean Campaign Kick-Off
Woodland Hills, CA — August 8, 2003 — Ronald J.
Friedman, M.D., a candidate for governor of California, today announced
he will host a "California Clean Campaign Kick-Off" here on Monday at
12 noon. The event will be held at his Woodland Hills office of
Wellness West, a Medical Corporation — a facility dedicated to
maximizing total health.
All gubernatorial candidates registered in Los Angeles
are invited to attend, with the purpose being to pledge a clean
campaign directed towards citizen concerns. "Government should be by
the people and for the people," Friedman said. "We are trying to
enhance citizen awareness of government and government responsiveness
to its citizens."
A "Citizen’s Platform Plank" will be available for
office personnel and visitors to post their concerns about California’s
future that they would like addressed by all candidates. Refreshments
will be served and all attending candidates will be asked to make
themselves available for employee and press queries.
