Background

Dr. Friedman was born and educated in New York, moving to California in 1968 to serve his selective service obligation at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco. Following completion of Residency Training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, he entered private practice in the Los Angeles area and remains in active practice. Dr. Friedman is a member of numerous medical societies, is an active proponent of quality medical care, and a staunch supporter of the California Bar to the Corporate Practice of Medicine. That Bar ensures that only medical licensees may practice medicine.

As co-founder of Medical Diagnostic Associates, A Medical Corporation (MDIA), and Wellness West, A Medical Corporation, he holds the titles of President and Chief Executive Officer of both medical corporations.
